Stickwick Holiday Homes comprises of three well equipped and excellent homes dating from the 1780's listed Grade II for you to stay - Cottage, Farmhouse, and Georgian Manor House - renovated in keeping with its period and containing many original features.
Escape the rush and bustle of life and come and stay at Stickwick, an organic working farm.
Discover the seasons of the year, as early spring sunshine warms the earth, bursting forth primroses and catkins, blubells and campions. Pack your wellingtons, bring the binoculars (pair provided) and follow the new 'Nature Trail' with 'Bird and Wildlife Hide'......or just relax in the spacious garden on those long summer evenings......
Autumn and Winter breaks, a time when festivities abound for Christmas. Mornings tinged with frost, brisk walks, sallow sunsets......a whole year's delight awaits you here.
Stickwick is also great for family gatherings, reunions, anniversaries and birthdays.
Manor House sleeps 12 with the adjoining Farmhouse sleeps 19 (interconnecting door).
Or maybe the Cottage just for two......
Stickwick
is just 10 minutes from the A38 and within walking distance of Hennock Village
pub and shop.
Bovey Tracey is 2 miles away with many traditional shops, pubs and restaurants
and places of interest such as the Devon Guild Craft Centre, Cardew Teapot
Pottery, and a glass blowing and pottery museum. For sports there is an indoor
pool and leisure centre at Newton Abbot and day visitors to Finlake Holiday
Park at Chudleigh Knighton. Having indoor & outdoor pools, golf, fishing,
horse riding and gym.
Fishing can be enjoyed at the nearby reservoir, just 2 miles away, or in the river Teign, and for the adventurous the sea is not far away. Visit the seaside at Teignmouth, Shaldon,Torbay ao the South Hams...or walk on Dartmoor...it's right on the doorstep!
Investigate the history and experience the heritage portrayed by such places as Castle Drogo, Bellvedere Tower, Killerton House, and many other castles and museums. Tearooms and Antique Shops abound in the towns and villages nearby. Exeter, Plymouth, and Newton Abbot offer good shopping facilities and a trip to Trago Mills is a must!
